Summer Calendar
ATTENTION ALL HIGH SCHOOL TEENS! We're going to the Region 10
Catholic Youth Conference. It's Nov 17-19 in Laredo, TX. You'll spend the weekend with HS
teens from Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. There's a jam-packed conference with awesome
keynote speakers, great workshops, incredible music and MORE! Cost is $275 each and covers
charter bus transportation, conference reg., T-Shirt, several meals and hotel stay. We'll
leave early on Friday morning (so you'll miss school) and return by 9pm on Sunday. Contact
Susan (243-0068) NOW to save your place on the bus! Early registration deadline ends soon
and then the price will go up...HURRY!
ATTN ALL HS TEENS: We're going on an Autumn ROADTRIP! Sat., Nov. 18,
we're going to see Fr Jeff in Mineral Wells! (This was rescheduled from October) We'll
leave ICC at 4:00 p.m., attend Mass at 6:30 p.m. with Fr. Jeff and go out to dinner with
him. We'll be back at ICC by 11:00 p.m. Sign up on the Youth Board or email Susan. Adult
drivers NEEDED!!!
ATTN ALL HS TEENS: Do you want to learn about being a Eucharistic Minister, Usher or
Lector at the Youth Masses? Come to Life Night on Sun, Nov 19 from 6-8pm for training.
WORLD YOUTH DAY AT ICC - On Sat., Nov. 11, we will celebrate World Youth Day at ICC! Pope
John Paul II instituted WYD many years ago as a way to celebrate ALL Teens around the
world. Each year, it is celebrated in our Diocese on the 4th Sunday of October with a trip
to Six Flags with our Bishop. We will celebrate it on the 11th with a blessing of all our
teens at each Mass. Please be sure your 6th-12th grade teens stand when Father invites
them to receive a blessing! There will also be a 2nd collection for Youth Ministry. Thanks
again for your continued support of the Youth of ICC!
ATTENTION! If you are a Middle or High School teen who has not yet
received the Sacraments of Baptism and/or First Eucharist, you can attend the RCIA for
Teens classes on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00. to learn more about the Catholic
Church and to journey towards receiving these Sacraments at Easter 2007. Call Susan in the
office if you have questions.
