The first picture at the altar is Sr. Anne signing her vows and the second is the profession of vows from the altar. Sr. Anne wrote and read out loud " Grasped by God, seized by the Holy Spirit, impelled by Jesus to be his eyes, ears, heart, and voice in the world, I bring my whole self to religious life. In a free response to God's call, I, Anne Elise Henehan, vow and promise to God chasity, poverty, obedience and the service of the poor, sick and ignorant according to the Constitutions of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. I publicly profess these vows for life in accordance with the Constitutions of the Sister of Mercy of the Americas in the presence of all gathered here, and you, Sister Jane Hotstream, RSM, delegate of Sister Mary Waskowiak, RSM, President of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, on this second day of July, two thousand and six.
